For Everything You Are (lyrics)
This reflects on a situation I'm in, but it has nothing to do with suicide... the third verse is the key, the speaker here does not try to fix things, and I'm already on my way!
Whenever I write about my life, it comes out more dramatic than my actual life is. Heh, I'm just boring I guess! =^..^=
The tune is ready and everything... I'm not sure how I'm going to instrumentate the beginning, but in the bridge, it's like The Leaving Song by AFI... from then on it's all screaming guitars and fun stuff like that =^..^=

For Everything You Are
by Cora Windover
She took to the waves
Knowing she'd rather have the ocean for her grave
Her litany
Had finally
Become too much to take
She couldn't say
At just what day
She began to make mistakes
(chorus)
But suddenly
Her eulogy
Was written in the stars
And her demise
Was sadly signed
"For everything you are,"
"For everything you are."
She broke down and cried
Knowing that justice came for every single lie
Her litanied
Apologies
Would fall upon deaf ears
She swam away
Upon that day
The sea could hold her tears
(chorus)
Too late then
Her requiem
Was written in the stars
Her suicide
Was sadly signed
"For everything you are,"
"For everything you are."
She tried to be strong
Knowing that she was weak, and being weak was wrong
She wanted to
She needed to
Grow up a little fast
But every time
She never tried
And justice came at last
"For everything you are that I am not,
For every time that you did not give up,
For every one of my apologies,
For ruining your life, I'M SORRY!"
(chorus)
But hopelessly
Her eulogy
Was written in the stars
Her suicide
And her demise...
"For everything you are,"
"For everything you are."
"For everything you are,"
"For everything you are."
