song - Nothing changes
20/04/04
Nothing changes
V1
The tears she wipes aside
The bruises she tries to hide
She’s praying she doesn’t have to speak
Just as she did last week
V2
The pain gets too much to bear
She feels she is getting nowhere
To the outside world, she wears a mask
But today it’s too much of a task
Chorus
Everywhere she goes, they stare
And whisper behind their hands
Everywhere she goes, they’re there
But they don’t understand
Nothing changes
V3
They’re watching every move she makes
Watching as she pays for her mistakes
They never see that she cries in the night
Or that she’s losing the strength to fight
V4
She’s a sorry sight to see
She dreams of how better she could be
No-one can ease her sorrow
She knows she could die tomorrow
Chorus
Everywhere she goes, they glare
And whisper behind their hands
Everywhere she goes, who cares?
But they don’t understand
Nothing changes, nothing changes
Nothing changes, nothing changes

Ahaaaaaaaa, domestic violence.
Paints a sad picture of a woman trying to
escape her lovers rage.
I like this lyric Mrs Oake, some will say you
are a genius. I'll just say that you are plonkers.
hahahaha... Beautiful. I hope you're not writing
from experiences you have had. If any..
I liked this lyric.. Excellent...Mouse..

Thank you very much, you know, it's not really fair for you to comment on my work as you are biased, but i'm not going to complain!
Bea said the same thing to me about hoping that i am not writing from experience... but if i told you what was what, it would shatter the illusion, besides which, pain is good for the soul!

Much as I'd like to give you the bad words you're so desperate for, I fear I shant be able to give you any at all. I really can't comment on a song without music.. I can treat it as a poem, but then even the best song is barely a second rate poem, if you catch my drift. Have you written tabs for it?

ahh you disappoint me Pawn... nevermind!
as for tabs, i'm not usually a song writer so you will have to educate me as to what you mean by that, if you wouldn't mind please!

Hum.. Guitar tabs or tablature. Generally just a representation of what chords go with which lines.

I agree with Pawn on this one not the best or the worst I have read here by you
But not good
To be honest the whole board seems to be swamped with average at the moment many serious players seem to have left .
No reflection on you Hollyoake
Just the way I feel about this forum at the moment.
