song - So alone
So alone
V1
She has feelings of abandonment
To which she clings
Like a faded worn security blanket
She enjoys the pain it brings
V2
She thinks she knows him well
But she’s never seen his face
He came into her lazy life
And set a faster pace
Pre-chorus
She never could admit to him
She could never tell
He’s only just come into her life
And now he’s gone as well
Chorus
He’s gone, she’s so alone – oh oh so alone
He’s gone, she’s on her own – so alone
He’s gone, she’s so alone
There’s nothing she can do
She’s blue, and he’s gone
V3
She’s not known him for very long
But she’s certain she wants more
He has filled her head
With words she’s not heard before
V4
She’s missing him so badly
Life grows excessively dim
She’s missed the opportunity to say
That she’s in love with him
Chorus
He’s gone, she’s so alone – oh oh so alone
He’s gone, she’s on her own – so alone
He’s gone, she’s so alone
There’s nothing she can do
She’s blue, and he’s gone

Hi Hollyoake. Are you a musician? I really like the chorus of this song because I can really feel how it would probably go if I heard it. Usually, I have a problem reading musical lyrics, even when I know the song, because I get tripped up on how it should go...you know? But, this song, at least the chorus anyway, transcends that problem.
