Two distant minds torn apart
Linked together in ambiguity
The normality of existence
Fades into the vagaries of a dream
Both minds can never know
Of how the other suffers
He is sleeping in reality
She is wide awake in a dream

Two distant points brought together
Linked by parallel worlds
Their chaotic natures erodes at their surroundings
Replacing space with emptiness
If she awakes the earth will be consumed
Engulfed in the wake of her expanding dream
The only resonant feature is the tower
Looming on an early morning horizon

I am alone on this place called Earth
Cold and desperate to awake

02: The Reality Tie

Metallic beasts roll down Iron tracks
In preparation for the storm
Along the forty-second latitude
The first lightning strike will hit

In the instant of it's flash
Dream and day will fuse as one
He will awake into her dream
She will awake in his reality

Her consciousness separated
Severing all ties with existence
Nothing will remain to remember
Except the promise in our early days

High above an ocean of war
The tower gleams like a blade
Stuck so deeply in its victim
As to never be removed

As their presence grows ever closer
Her dream begins to fade
The world in which she is alone
Slowly receding back
