She was perfect, everything I crave.
Unfortunately,
I didn't know the games she played.
Complicated like monopoly,
Yet teasing like pictionary.
Now I'm sittin here by myself
drowning in my own shame
wishing I could go back
and boycott board games.
Her name wasn't Milton Bradley
but she played me like a fool
I guess what they say is true
always read the game rules.
I'm not a gambling man
but I woulda went all-in
but we were't playin texas hold'em
we were playin 5 card stud
and she had the whole deck
in her hands.
At this point
the only thing separating me
from Wyatt Earp
is I wasn't holding aces & eights
cause it felt like a bullet
when I heard she had other mates.
Sure those were the taboo words
maybe that's why i never got the password.
Now i'm jumping through shoots and ladders
trying to spin the wheel
it woulda been nice to know
we were playin deal or no deal.
Her name wasn't Milton Bradley
but she played me like a fool
I guess what they say is true
always read the game rules.
Now i'm playing my own game of outburst
wondering why i went on such a trivial pursuit.
Then when i thought i almost won
i touched the metal and i caught a buzz,
though I still didn't know there were others
working on this operation.
But once you fell in the mouse trap
I saw the light
anyone can get bingo
if the price is right.
So come on down
your the next person
on who wants to be a whore
cause all you ever want
is more and more.
your never satisfied
like the hungry hungry hippoes
and one day i hope you
topple to the ground like dominos.
Her name wasn't Milton Bradley
but she played me like a fool
I guess what they say is true
always read the game rules
