    Even

On this bridge of death and then hell
Fondness is dumb, oh clever's stale
Once there was a time we were equal
Once there was a time we had freedom

Oh on that bridge of tenderness
    Kindness is gone, loneliness sets
Once there was a place to be equal
Once there was a place to have freedom

    (Chorus)
There's no even in this world
    There's no even
    There's no even

Still on that bridge were darkness met
    Evil is normal, we forget
Once there was an age we were equal
Once there was an age we had freedom

Oh on that bridge of tearfullness
    Daddy is gone, momentless slips
Once there was a friend who was equal
Once there was a friend who gave freedom

    (Chorus)
There's no even in this world
    There's no even
    There's no even

    Even, even, even, even
    Even, even, even, even
    Even, even, even, even
    Even, even, even, even
Some people say you hate me
    I don't believe it's true
    Things that you're going through
