I love the title...I'll have to read this again... I expected something so different here as I just got lost in Johnny Mercer's lyrics again after watching Eastwood's documentary on him......))))

haha, you're a good writer! This song I find really invokes emotions quite subtly which I love! But I would maybe make some parts a tad more explicit to appeal to a wider audience, but personally love the subtle stuff - these are the sort of songs that you will find a completely different meaning in it in a few years.
