    Jaws of the beast...

    Silenced, here, now
Standing one each on the maws,
    Of madness,
In the middle begs the abyss,
    But we dare not stare,
Our eyes only for each other,
And thought the hurricane born from its roars,
Keeps our voices from trying to soar,
    I’m calling to you,
    Can’t you feel my words?

    Where are you now?
That I can no longer see you,
I can still feel your life going on and on,
    Where have you gone?
Have you tired from this eternal distance?
Caught worlds apart in a single stride

    When, did, we
Choose to brave the wind, the rain,
    The torment,
    What courage kept us here?
Why did we decide to live this feat?
Not moving an inch out of fear,
Falling from this unholy place would be second worst,
Here you are, and should I leave would it be worth,
    Curing all the gods,
Can you feel this as well?

Play, my souls, the requiem of tomorrow
When the sun will rise we’ll relive this sorrow
When the darkness sits, our eyes are quiet
And we can let the moments go

Play, my souls, the reverie of the living,
The dreamless state of joyous melancholy,
The comfort of sadness in the times of need
Where love is forgotten and two souls meet

    Where have you gone?
Why have you left me here,
For my eyes to drop into the abyss,
    Where are you now?
    I can feel you,
But I need you here to keep me alive
