Theres always tomorrow

This is a purely acoustic song(for the moment), its long, and its got a not so much sad as "grey" progression, a mournful quality but it also has an uplifting, light section that fades away as the mournful tune that accompanies the wanderer repeats.

I don't suggest this to three people: Optimists(you will never get it), anyone who doesn't like music in the style of opeth, emos or anyone of that character attitude.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Theres always tomorrow --

Dragging old tattered boots
Brown worn grey by sand and soot
The cobblestones beneath me
And the pale sky above
Wandering where I'll go...

All I carry with me is all that there is to my name
Clothes and a satchel, times made them all the same
A photograph, grey from times gone past
The only thing I still remember...

[I had a little girl named Rachel
Red hair and a beautiful face
She used to bring me morning coffee
How I blessed her little heart]

[And I wife, I had one too
A tall woman, at six foot two
She was just a little but above me
But she still slept, her head resting on my lap]

And now my daughter can't forgive me
And I visit my wife every day
The stone that writes her name
It was born as time wears everything away

So I keep walking, under rain and hail
Even sunny days dont take my frown away
Through the mud, muck sand and grovel
Under a tree is where I end most of my days

But theres always tomorrow, where the sun will rise
The moon abandons and theres a new born life
I can live for that moment, where I feel no scorn
That coming tomorrow, where another me is born

So I keep walking, as the storm gets worse
Thunder crackles and the winds grows coarse
As I walk around houses, I can hear fires and warm stew
I sit wet and dreary, cold but alive

Because theres always tomorrow, where the sun will rise
The moon abandons, and theres a new born life
If I can live for that moment, where there is no scorn
That coming tomorrow, where most men are born

Theres no pity for beggars, not protected by law
And you hulligans are amused, breaking just more
Bleeding and broken, I still carry on
Because theres still more tree, where I can still carry on

Because there always tomorrow, when the sun will rise
The moon abandons, and theres new born life
If I can reach that moment, I will feel reborn
I can go to my wife, and watch over my first born...

Im just an old begger
Wonderer some say sage
Wisdom with ages
Hope is my name
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
P.S - If you have any musical inclination I can write a score for you if you want to hear what this sounds like with music, it's yet to be recorded due to orchestration problems, so I can't post a Mp3.

Litharukia is on a distinguished road
That's powerful. I didn't really like the first couple verses as much.

"Wandering where I'll go" could be "wondering" but at the same time, in a way, it does make sense.

"Time's" and "red" at the beginning. I would particularly like to hear this recorded, because the lyrics work.

It does its job and does it well. Quite a picture.

Wandering is there because it's a phonetic play on words, it's meant to suggest that the person both doesn't know where he is going, but continues to go towards it simply by walking where the wind takes him. He is moved by the hand of fate so to speak
