The Devil is interrupting your dreams!
There is this belief in my religion that When you are having a nice dream while sleeping, it sometimes ends in a bad way. I mean, everything goes well untill an unexpected event happens. The reason behind this unexpected event is an interference from the Devil who tries to distract you while you're sleeping.
According to our bliefes, some dreams are messages from God. They are like good omen that tells you something good is about to happen to you the next day, or maybe two years later. Not anyone is capable of interpretting dreams.
I am not asking you to agree or disagree with this. I just would like to know if you have similar beliefs.

I think dreams are more psychological than religious. If I go to bed thinking too much about work, I dream I'm at work - stressed beyond belief usually. That's why I think REALLY hard about Eric Bana before I put my head down; guaranteed some nice dreams then

Not an easy distinction to nail down.
Especially regarding the subconscious

If God is controlling my dreams, he has a wicked sense of humor. Frankly, I prefer the Devil's take.

I can't remember my dreams, let alone decipher whether they were sent by God or the devil.

Good night, my dears. Sleep soundly and know I'm by you to guard your dreams.

Dreams can be controled easily, or at least directed in most cases involing my friends and my self. If you concentrate on something before you go to bed, you are almost surely to dream about it. If you focus n a time to wake before you sleep, you are almost sure to wake then. If you concentrate on a question before bed, you are most likely to get a responce before you wake.
As for God and the Devil, I'm not sure they are so potent. They are both Egregores that are loosing faith, and therefore power, dayly. I inquire, and I am given an answer. I would like to know the process, but it's not worth giving my nightly canvas for.

I don't believe in God or Satan.I always thought I controlled my dreams with what I think about before falling asleep.

If God is controlling my dreams, he's one perverted mthafcker. But then again, it could always be Satan controlling them. ;] Either way, I still have some pretty fun dreams. I don't care where they come from, only that they come. I like dreams.

Come to think about it, almost all my dreams I found very intriguing. I even got inspirations for stories from dreams. But I only dream about 1/4 of the time so it's not a common occurrence for me.
Well actually it's not that I don't dream. The truth is, everyone dreams every night. If the dream ends before you wake up, you don't remember it, which is why dreams tend to be interrupted. What I heard anyway.
