I don't know what I'll do today. I doubt if I'll go anywhere to see fireworks, I should be able to see some distant ones from my backyard. But I feel like I should be off doing something. Terrib, do you hate how Irving puts 1,000,000 of those little plastic flags up and down every single street every year? I sure do. It's annoying and it can't be good for the environment.

Fireworks are illegal for regular civilians to set off here in PA. So we smuggle them in and set them off while keeping watch for government party poopers.
Er...I mean, I don't. The neighbors do. Was that a knock at the door?

Whoo! Happy 4th of July!
Oh wait... I'm not American...
How come Americans are obliged to celebrate Independance Day, but us English aren't expected to celebrate St. George's Day.
Ticks me off.

Well, it's all still a bit fresh for us, the whole independence thing. Hey, that brings me to a question: from your history classes, what is your impression of American independence? I'd just be interested to see if there is a significant difference in the way it's taught.

Yes, AA, I can't believe how many flags are on Northgate. Have you seen that yet? And thanks for the grammar lesson Malone. I'll change it.

Ha, that's what we do too (or at least what we used to do). One year, the police car even ran over a still burning tank without realizing it. Another year, we set my grandmothers' lawn on fire and were trying to put it out while still not alerting the police, who were constantly cruising up and down that road. Same thing with the roof.
Anyway, I'm working today. No day off for me. Fireworks were two days ago. Family "cookout" tonight, will be lots of fighting. Much fun. I'm whining, so I'll stop now.
But, happy fourth of July everyone. Have fun.

We didn't become independent from anyone on St George's day.

I don't think I'm doing anything today. Maybe going to go see my family get drunk, but who knows? I'll probably just sit at home and hope that I see some fireworks from here.

Packing for vacation...leaving tomorrow and having a last minute meat-burning on the grill with some family tonight. We'll probably watch fireworks on tv. Best seats in the house

My neighbors don't own a fucking calender and have been setting off fireworks in their backyard every night for the past three weeks. Happy Fourth of July! <_<
