What makes you tick?
I enjoy reading how we introduce ourselves to the forums, but am frustrated by the lack of idiosyncratic detail, so I'd like to propose that we share 10 things that turns our crank (off the top of our heads, in no particular order). Here's mine:
Arugula
Philip Roth
Things that shine
Floating
My husband's kiss
Fireflies
My friends at dinner
My characters
My film set
The Caribbean Sea

The spousal unit
Writing
Coffee -- strong, hot and plenty of it
Mahler
Dvorak
Jogging
Ripe strawberries in season
Artisan cheese from this little dairy about 60 miles from here -- worth every minute of the drive
Shoes -- I just can't help it, it's an addiction. I'm not like Imelda Marcos, but then again I don't have the treasury of a small country to loot, either.
