So What Blockbusters Are You Looking Forward To?
Hey there people
Another Movie thread in the Lounge!
What movie are you looking forward to? Is it a huge summer blockbuster, or a quiet straight-to-DVD flick? Was it made 80 years ago, and you still haven't seen it, or will it be made in 2012? Has it got star-studded cast, or are they part-time McDonalds workers?
What movies do you want to watch?
I want to see quite a few, so I'll only name 2.
1. Wolverine (2009)
It's an X-Men spin-off that looks quite interesting, and for some weird psychotic reason I've always liked that kind of stuff.
2. Cell (Some time in the future?)
Based on Stephen King's novel, and directed by Hostel's Eli Roth, I want to see how these guys are gonna pull this off without making Stephen upset.
Hows about you guys?
Nick

I don't look forward to any movie. I wait untill they are out, evaluate them and then decide whether I want to see them. We never go to the theater anyway. When we get a chance to go out -- get a babysitter etc. -- we want to go someplace where we can talk and enjoy each other's company. Not to a theater. So we don't see movies until they've been out a good while.

I've been looking forward to The Dark Knight for a while now, I'm definitely going to go see that one. I might check out Hellboy and the new X-Files movie also.

1. The Dark Knight by far. It looks AMAZING. I think I'm going to see it opening day. Plus, I love Batman and Christian Bale. But I'm really going to see it for Heath Ledger.
2. Revolutionary Road with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. I heard it is VERY good and has serious Oscar potential. I'm really looking forward to that. But it's being released in December =/

Yeah, Christian Bale is great, but I was really impressed by Ledger. I was unsure about him being cast as the Joker at first...but after seeing the trailers I am really looking forward to his performance.

The Dark Knight, mostly because The Joker is in it . . . I have a mild obsession with him, not that I can be blamed, he is the most awesome villian of his kind.
Hellboy, because the first one was great and the second one has the blatantly obvious mark of Guillermo Del Toro so it should be pretty damn weird.
Wolverine, because he's my favourite X-Man.
I think that's it.

Haha, yes, I will be there opening day, you have no idea. I'm a huge Abba fan and let's be honest that little girl from Mean Girls and Big Love is going to make an awesome protagonist. But yeah, I have gotten SO much flack for wanting to see it.

Dark knight and that is about it. Wolverine sounds nice but I'm not quite sure about it yet.
