SPAIN(Who would've guessed?)
I guess yesterday's victory brings new meaning to the phrase "Underdogs On Top". I would never in a million years imagined Spain to be the ones to take the Euro cup title, but the team was well in form for the duration of the tournament.
And even though my team got the boot (Italy), I'm still glad they took it home. More should I say, I'm glad they pounded Germany's ass

Italy's my team too. My sister lives in Milan and her life is always easier when they win. Her husband is a big baby about such things. Sorry they lost, but I'm also glad Spain won.

well i wouldn't exactly consider Spain underdogs.. they were awesome throughout the whole campaign.. i was behind them all the way in the final.

I hope they can keep up this form in 2010, when world cup rolls around.
WTF am I saying? I hope they lose this form...ITALY MUST RETAIN THE WORLD CUP!!!

International football means so little. My team is Manchester United, they weren't competeing so I have only a slight interest.
I wanted Russia to win the tournament after they beat Holland with such style.
