I think he was more brainwashed than he was sick.

If his grandmother wasn't a neo-Nazi, and his father hadn't abused him as a child, I highly doubt he would've gone around and indiscriminately killed blacks and paralyzed Larry Flynt.

Verdict: Plain evil.
