George Carlin Died

I just read this. Sucks. I was never a huge fan, but he did a lot of good stuff with religion and politics. Too bad.

Stan Winston died too in the last few days. Tough couple of weeks for people I actually admire.

Went to a hospital with chest pains and died of heart attack.

Greives me, the guy was a ground-breaking original.

I mentioned this in another thread in the Word Games section yesterday. He was my favorite comedian, this really sucks. Now if the rather young Dana Gould dies, I don't know who I'll rely on for a laugh.

RIP.

My little brother went to see Gould a few weeks ago. He said it was a good show.

I wanted to cry when I saw that headline yesterday. Well, maybe not cry, but at least I took a moment to stare at the page in disbelief before navigating to WF.com. I don't think he was the funniest of comedians, but the guy was a genius. It was a sad day for comedy, indeed.
