Portal Fans, Onward and Upward

To: Anyone who has played or knows what the game Portal is. I don't know how many people know about this but it's worth showing to those who don't, I think.

From here on down is secrets for those who want spoilers on the website
(highlight to see)

First thing you gotta do is type login or help. (Help sends you to a fun little paragraph, after which you can still login)
Any login will do but for special stuff type in: CJohnson
If you type in CJohnson, use Tier3 as the password.
Then type: Directory

From there you can do any of three things.
1. Type in: TheCakeIsALie to see something fun
2. Type in: Notes to see the entire history behind the game (fun for people who have beaten it)
3.Type in: Apply to go through a whole bunch of weird crud that seems to be a job application.

Extra spoilers
-Throughout the personality test, one can see letters that slowly fade in and out. In order, they spell out: Thecakeisalie.
Page - Letter
1 - t
3 - h
6 - e
7 - c
8 - a
24 - k
30 - e
31 - i
36 - s
38 - a
39 - l
46 - i
48 - e
-Don't bother memorizing the long code because it changes with every flash. Not to mention it's case sensitive and the site doesn't let you switch to lower case.
-On one (or maybe a few) page(s) you can see a small round cake with a candle in it flash in the lower section of the page
-Page 3 of the interview, the letters page only has 25 choices, the letter "s" has been omitted
-Typing a backslash will automatically become a 7

(Might be more. Check it out and try to see what I might have missed)

Is this an alternate reality game for portal or something? I love portal and I love ARGs.

From what I've seen and heard, it's just a fansite. Valve released it so that people who liked the game could see if they could crack the site.

Portal is Valve's online game delivery system. It's just a program that lets you buy and download the games and run the games through it.

I don't know what this site is.

Portal is a game that Valve released. You know, with the portal gun.
