Who do you look for??
I'm still not into the swing of things here. Still a lurker at heart. But when I do pop in I find there are a few posters who I always look for and always read their posts.
I am curious: all you regular visitors...do you have a favourite bunch of posters whose posts you always go for? Not because you like them or agree with them specifically, but because their posts are always thought provoking.
If so, who are they?

I wouldn't want to answer that. I'm sure I'd leave someone out, or something would be misconstrued. Anyway, there are lot's of them -- too hard to say.

Are you talking about posts in general or works up for critique?

I am not sure if "Thought Provoking" is the word I would use to describe the people I look for.
I look for different people with entirely different motives in mind. Why I would look for someone is as unique as the person themselves. And where they post hold equal merit and weight.
Do I have a list? There are some people that stand out, people I remember and recall their work, but I do not have a "List" so much people that might be considered "The usual suspects"
Ungood.

I'd bet everyone here has their 'favorites', but I don't think it means they'll always look for so-and-so's posts or that they'll ignore any one new that comes along.
My list is pretty long for the people whose posts I keep an eye out for, and I couldn't possibly mention them all. I will say this though, if I see that one of the mods or mentors posts a piece of writing, I always read it. They're mentors for a reason, right?
Also, I'm sure I speak for everyone here when I say that Truth-Teller's words are always insightful and we really wish he'd post more often.

There are certain posters that if I see their names in a thread, I will check out just to see what's in there. There are also certain posters who post work that I will specifically go and read. After a while you will gravitate to certain people more than others either because you think alike or have similar interests or you like their writing style. For me, it was a matter of getting to know people in the Debate, Lounge and Game threads and reading work that interested me.

Hmm, it's not the people that post (No offence) that attracts me it's more the name of the thread which intrigues me. For example Malones thread 'Teeth' is a strange one. I want to know what he means, so I click it and might post if I have anything to say.

That's quite true, I'm much too quiet.

I have to read all the troublemakers' posts. And I don't want to list who they are in case I miss someone, either.

Usually I go for Malone or Joe's threads in the lounge. Modest Me has some good threads too, but it usually pains me to read them. In the critique section, I usually try to read everything I can and give some kind of feedback.
Sam.

Because something bad is always happening to you, MM, and it pains me to read about the trouble you're having. That's all.
Sam.
