Name me some songs...
I'm compiling a bunch of 70's style disco. Stuff like night fever, and staying alive by the bee gees. I just for the life of me can't think of any others. More modern tracks in the style of 70's disco are welcome too - Like Don't Feel like Dancing by the scissor sisters.
So, recommend me some. Fire away.

Do That Stuff - Parliament
That's all you really need right there.

Play That Funky Music White Boy by Wild Cherry. A classic. I HATE funk and end up singing it.

Disco Inferno?
Le Freak?
Kung Fu Fighting?
I love those songs, as much as I hate them.

Yes, Sir, I can boogie... Baccarat
Sex Machine (although that is really funky)
That's the way I like it - can't remember by whom
It's raining men

My friend lent me Mika's album. Wasn't really my style, but I do think you might enjoy it if you like 70's era style.

Ring my bell
All the Donna Summer songs - Bad Girls, Hot Stuff, Macarthur Park
I Will Survive - Gloris Gaynor
Groove is in the Heart - Deelite
Boogie Oogie Oogie
Don't Leave Me this Way
Kiss actually did a disco song called 'I Was Made for Loving You". It pissed off their faithful rocker fans.
Rolling Stones fans were pissed off by the disco songs 'Miss You' and 'Emotional Rescue"
Metallica pissed off fans by going disco...no, wait, it was by cutting their hair. No Metallica disco...yet.
Previous poster: Heh heh - I can't get the song "Disco Duck' out of my head now - good call!
