I AM SO ANGRY!
That little s**t head, Beckham, is leaving England! I want to strangle that little bastard right now! It's not like he ever did anything for the team, except practically break his legs and throw the World Cup. F*CK him!
Anyone else agree?

If he never did anything for the team, wouldn't it be a good thing to see him go? Or am I just clueless to how soccer works?

Doesn't he play for Real Madrid now, a Spanish team?

why all this anger just because one man decides he wants to play out the rest of his career in another country.
although im not a big fan of david beckham he has done a great deal of good in this country by funding training grounds for young talented footballers who come from poor backgrounds and otherwise may not have the chance to be able to play the game.
i really cannot understand why you need to throw insults at the man. would you like it if people started on you because you decided to change your job or relocate.

For 250 million dollars I would piss on Englands flag. But your right, he seems to be no good. Hes past his prime, America wants to "try" and make soccer more significant, and Hollywood is probably his main goal right now.
Good things,
Ty

I'm guessing Hollywod is his wife's goal.
Honestly, who pays $250 million US for a sports star? And one with a trashy wife to boot. Wait -- how much did they pay Gretzky?

I can't believe he's being paid so much. Someone has got too much money. It's like £80 a second.

It's eighty pounds too much. He's such a sell out. At least Wayne Rooney stepped on a player's groin to get pulled out during the World Cup. All Beckham did was whine about his knees and got pulled out on a stretcher.

The new Britain scares me... I know more sensitive Russians than Beckham... but that would be an insult to someone close to me...

Why do people have to see the worst in famous people? He's someone who was passionate about football as a kid. He lived his dream. He hasn't turned to drugs. He provides well for his family. He has followed the responsibility path that society expects of a family man.
He's done a lot of good for the UK football world. He spend a lot of time in his prime encouraging youth to follow their football dreams. Fine, he made a mistake in one world cup when he was young, but he also knows how to play football as a team member, rather than an individual, and has surely made amends in games since then!
He's made amazing achievements in what he's passionate about. If I can achieve half of what he has with my own passions, I'll be happy. As for Posh. I don't know her. I've never met her, and I don't trust the media enough to make judgements on what I hear.

the 'new' britain. what in the hell are you talking about? saying beckhams move to LA is representative of this. you are full of strange notions indeed.
why not get with the program and accept the inevitable changes that occur in this world on a day to day basis instead of vexing about some guy who just happened to get paid a lot of money to take a job abroad.

Just in Germany last year, he went whining about his knees and got pulled out of the game... in a decisive game! England lost!
Not that I should be all that surprised, England hasn't won World Cup in about fifty years.
It made me angry because he's selling out his nationality for a country that doesn't have a strong tradition in football. It's just wrong, football was the only thing England had left.

Argh! This makes me SO ANGRY TOO! I mean, what the fuck? If we can't count on SPORTS to go our way, what CAN we count on in the world?!
You know what else makes me angry? Those fucking commercials about helping those poor African kids that come on between games! What the fuck?! There shouldn't BE breaks between games!
