Where is the weirdest place you've ever been inspired?
I've always wanted to know these things. Funny story, my boyfriend 103_smalls was once inspired to write while on the toilet.
Any other weird places?

I am always inspired on the toilet. It is the only place a man can really think about things.

Well, I guess it isn't really weird, but I usually get inspired when going to bed (I have a notebook next to my bed), in the bus or, like has been said before, on the toilet... you are free to say that during my trips with the bus (or train) is definitely the most comfortable.

I don't know how we got on the subject, but my friend and I were conversing about a funny Blair Witch Spoof, which then became some sort of epic, and is now (originally a movie idea) a HUGE series that I'm writing.
It was at lunch. In a cafeteria... but yeah, hmm...
I still have no idea how the hell we got to that subject...

I never really had a wierd place, but let me tell you a tale....
A couple of days ago I saw a post on here that sparked an idea in my head. It was nothing more than a seed. Yesterday I was falling asleep on the couch, I was in that state just before dream where you are asleep, but still aware of your surroundings. That idea started to blossom in my mind, and I had a full story idea. I got up and wrote down the idea, but when I tried to go back to sleep I couldnt do it and I had to get up and write. I pounded out 2k words in about an hour and the story is coming along perfectly!

I wrote a poem shortly after rescuing someone who was having a seizure.
It was a pretty awful poem, unfortunately.

I think the toilet is a much more common place to think up ideas than any of us ever thought! I often think ideas up in the shower but that often leads to an angry family due to water wastage.

i would have to say my weirdest place ever would be when i wrote my first poem.. it was in a history class... usually im so preoccupied with the teacher in history (i love histroy) that all that i think of is questions... so to have a poem -- my first poem (that had nothing to do with history) come from that was rather strange

Passing a double decker bus in London, with myriad Santa Clauses scampering all over it.

After visiting Whitby last autumn, a quaint North Yorkshire fishing town, and finding it inexplicably full of Goths. I suddenly thought, "Hey, this would be the perfect setting for my main character to break up with his abusive girlfriend." The chapter kind of makes sense when you read it.

I once wrote a poem shortly after recovering from a seizure myself. It was also pretty awful.
