Now, I know this is the most annoying question anybody can ask but, does anybody know of any good band names?

My 'band' is me (vocals and acoustic guitar, male), my friend (also vocals and acoustic guitar, but female) and occasionally another friend on piano. I have no idea who our influences would be, which is helpful. I supposed maybe Coldplay, Eva Cassidy... but they don't really describe us.

Sorry if I'm being vague. We just need a sort of folkish / blues / country / indie kind of vibe?

Just if anyone knows any good names.

Also; discuss cool band names, if you please.

I like Green Day, Maroon 5, and so on. I'd go with something that doesn't quite go together. "Blue Sunrise" or "Cutting Silence". But that's just my opinion.

I heard of a great band name of a group in Edinburgh. They are apparently called, "Bumrape".

I also had friends who once had such great band names as "Anal Phelm" and "Cunt Hammer". It made booking gigs a wonderful experience.

Sonic Death Monkey is great.
