Anyone wanna have their name in a Stephen King book?
Or how about a Lemony Snicket? By way of Neil Gaimen's journal, here is your chance. It's all for a good cause.
Whose book would you want to be in? If Roald Dahl were still alive, I'd love to be one of his obnoxious, disgusting, cruel adults. Daniela Maria -------, the fire-breathing, child-eating babysitter…

All rubbish. I'd pay NOT to be in their books.

Stephen King's name will be on one of my books one day, praising my literary prowess.

When someone as driven as you Kane says that, I can almost believe it.

C'mon, Dravza! Regardless of whether you like their work or not, don't you want your name in a book that thousands and thousands of people will read? Depending on how major a character her offer represents, you could potentially be the sexy neighbor/co-worker/grocery store clerk/cab driver in a new Nora Robert's novel. There's plenty of girls who would think that was cool (I'm not one of them but I'm sure they are out there).
Of course, you’d have to win the auction first. I wonder if anyone here has that kind of money.

Man, if I was rich I'd pay to put my name in as many books as I can. It'd be good subliminal-ish advertising. Plus it'd be a good running joke if a lot of best-sellers had the same character in them.

If I were in a Roald Dahl book, I'd have children for every meal. For all I know I even could be in one right now. You know, that would explain the strange aftertaste in my mouth. Spoiled brats are all some babysitters seem to get.
[ot:11c14cbe88]It may just be that I'm extremely weird but I see a good idea for a children's book here. I guess I'll try to write it and see how things turn out. I'll have to use another name for the Daniela Maria character though...[/ot:11c14cbe88]
How about it, Aevin? Is there an author out there whose next book you would like to be in?

Damn, you said "please." Give me a few weeks or maybe a month and I'll see what I can do. I’m not posting it in C&A though.

Ha, Daniela, you brat. I don't know what I would be, a wise old woman who hides in the woods, or a crazy women who believes she is a medieval warrior and chases people out of her territory....

I'd play money to do that, except I'd tell them my name was Sod O'Mize or some shit.

my name (first and last) was coincedentally in a book as the main character once. I'm not going to say which book, though, because then you'd all know my name.
