Peter Jennings: A Class Act . . . .

I had heard that Peter Jennings died, just minutes before midnight. While I never agreed with some of his politics, Jennings was a professional and I always watched his newscasts. I grew up watching him. He was a class act and will be missed . . . .

a class act, for sure... especially his swan song appearance where he admitted smoking had done him in... let's hope his death will have some meaning, if only as a lesson to all smokers!

My favorite anchor of all time... Sigh. I really don't like ABC, but Jennings was one of the last real newsmen.

I've never been one to really watch the news, too depressing, if you ask me. But throughout the course of my life I did watch him from time to time. I always enjoyed his voice, calm, professional, and knowledgable. He genuinely seemed to care about the topics he reported on. He was the epitome of class. I was saddened by word of his passing.
