Going to the Chapel (Our own Version)

I just wanted to post to let everyone know that valeca and I will be missing in action for the next couple of weeks. I know I have been as of late, but I've been very busy with all that is going on recently. Now, the time is growing near, and we will be making our walk down the aisle, so to speak.

As My beautiful fiance posted in an earlier thread, we decided to do a Handfasting. Our ceremony is rapidly approaching (still not fast enough though) and when we come back, we'll be two halves joined into one complete whole. I'll have a wife, the most spectacular one any man could ever ask for.

We'll be back soon. Have fun and keep posting.

I haven't said this before, having rarely been around, but CONGRATULATIONS both of you, and I hope you are both happy together.

We loved our handfasting because it combined our beliefs and cultural backgrounds. All the best, friends . . . .

I watched Braveheart last week and witnessed firsthand what a handfasting is.

I pretend to be an expert on subjects I see in movies. (Ever see Terminator 2? I learned a lot from that....)

Even though I've said it about four times, I'll say it again: congratulations forever.

maia, we met at WF, hit it off immediately and....8 months later, here we are The Handfasting is our wedding ceremony.

Damien, darlin', are the final fittings for your maid-of-honour dress finished, or will you be au natural? If it's the latter...really...consider the mosquitoes. Heh.

Trust me lovey, nobody wants me au naturel.

I'm gonna have to work on my gams if I'm gonna fit into that dress.

If I haven't made it official on the WF, I'm completely behind you two 100%. I think you're gonna enjoy life together - and I just hope I can help where I can.

Congratulations!

-- oh, this is post #400 for me. So glad to use it on something worthwhile.

I don't think I've said this to you before, though I've been lurking around and thinking it from time to time ...

Congratulations! May your life together always be blessed with happiness!
