What's your favorite place/position to write in?
I like writing either curled up in a ball on a chair, or laying across the floor.

hmmm... well, I prefer typing on a computer rather than actually writing... I know, that's terrible, isn't it? I'm starting to wish I wasn't so technologically oriented... Anyway, that pretty much confines me to writing in my living room, in front of my computer screen, with my various family members leaning over my shoulder as I type my innermost feelings. Sweet, huh?
If I could choose where I wrote, however (meaning, if I were fortunate enough to own a laptop) I think I would write in my back yard. We live just beside (and slightly immersed in) this patch of wood. It's rather small, and you can see the street below the hill in the winter, but it's still more trees than if I lived in the suburbs. Anyway, I would love to write beneath one of those trees, with the wind blowing on my face... prefereably right before a storm. lol I find that oddly peaceful.
And I realize I'm getting wierd again, so I think I'll end it there.

At home in the den on my computer. On the road in a notebook (yes - a real paper notebook). Airplanes are my favourite place to write. I'm not sure why, but my creativity goes up...

I lay on my futon, using two-three pillows as leverage.
It's destroying my back. Really.

Setting at my desk in my chair. A glass of tea is near. A snack is found close at hand. In front of me is a wall consisting of my monitor, cpu, xbox, nintendo 64, scanner, printer, speakers, fax, cell phone, bucket of pens and pencils, disks and cds, books like a dictionary and thesaurus, and many papers I have written and scribbled on. The ceiling fan twirls over my head. The upstairs balcony is closed and blinds partly drawn.
This is my perfect setting. It is here, I can succumb to my imagination and travel endless highways of fantasy....

Nice post, TexasProud.
It is rather inconvienient most of the time, but I perfer to type when I write. For some reason, it is easier for me. In fact, I write much better on a computer than I do on paper. (I tried writing something on paper once, because I was bored and didn't have access to a computer, and it was very bad. But I typed the same thing later and it was much better.) I think it is partially because I type much faster than I write.
P.S. Hi Crunch! (This is the person that you last saw a half an hour ago at the beach!)
