Video Games - What do you play?
As I sit here and write this, blood bathed cries resound fixedly from the Xbox in my room as thousands of master chiefs' are slaughtered all across Xbox Live.
Bwahahaha!
(Wiping blood from mouth) Anyway, I was wondering what kind of games everyone is into, if any. If you play video games, tell us what you like to play.
Personally, I can't pass up a good blood bathing in Halo 2, but I mainly stick to the RPG stuff. I think of the RPG as more of an interactive book than as a video game.

I'm a big fan of Red Orchestra, a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004. At the moment I'm also playing SWAT 4 and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.

RPGs, the occasional action/adventure or puzzle game... Oh, and I am addicted to Pokemon Pinball.

Starcraft, Civilization II (not III), Master of Orion II (not III), and Marathon. Very old games, but also very good ones. I'm also partial to Unreal (the first one), but I don't play it on a regular basis.

I love Halo 2. It's a very serious addiction of mine. Except when I play online, guys make fun of me because I'm a girl. Such mean people...
And I play a lot of Morrowind: GotY, KotOR 2, Fable, Counterstrike, Beyond Good and Evil, etc. Ahh... such sweet addictions they are.

People with anime in their avatars are the worst! And Halo 2 is by far the most overrated game ever.

That's because it's a universal truth that girls are better than guys at Halo. They're scared.

Sometimes, but not completely. On some gaming forums I go to there are always a bunch of people saying how much it sucks. It's a great game; it just didn't live up to its hype. Therefore causing much distress and panic amongst us gamers. But I am faithful to Master Chief. I still love him.

Tetris. By god, how I love Tetris! So simple yet so elegant. My highscore is 154,000ish Also Harvest Moon for the GBA.
On Xbox, Halo 2 rocks (only in multiplayer), Timesplitters 2 (great multiplayer and single player, Beyond Good and Evil (best single player game EVER).
Gamecube- Metroid Prime, SSBM, and my friend and I had great fun playing NHL 2005.

Marathon was Bungie's first *good* FPS game. Try it out—you'll be surprised how similar it is to Halo. Marathon arguably has the best and most complex storyline of any first person shooter ever made, and it seems that Bungie may have set Halo in the Marathon universe...

Bungie must be doing something right if they're as popular as they are. Besides, Halo 2 is the best online multiplayer game out there (besides sports games).
But you're right. The campaign in Halo 2 sucks. It gets way too repetitive and the maps are way too straightforward.
One last thing. Is anybody into Kingdom Hearts? That's one of my favorite games.
