What to do with my language

As a project for school I am inventing a full conlang, it's more work than I expected but for some reason I am having fun with it. I don't know what to do with it after though. I want to incorporate it in writing, but don't want to do fantasy or scifi, think I could pass a fake language in a story as a legit one spoken some place? Should I make a story about someoen that made a language and had nothing to do with it. Something so vital to mankind sure can be useless when you do it yourself

Hmmm. Could always use it as a harmless code language between friends that they discover adds up to something more...?

Made-up countries and so forth are good for satire. It can highlight how people have trouble understanding each other.

Look at the language you created. What does it sound like in mood and character? Maybe that will lead you to some ideas. This could be a great opportunit for creativity. Good luck.

Oooh... what if it was a secret language, used for communication between spies, or some other sort of espionage.

1. Put it in your CV under the Foreign Languages section!

2. Write a short tutorial and a grammar and post them on the net.
