Your three favorite animals (explanation now revealed)
This is a game.
List your three favorite animals, in order. List three adjectives that you feel apply to each animal.
When we have gotten a bunch of responses, I will explain the meaning of the game.
I'll start:
1. Giraffe. Tall, quiet, oddly graceful.
2. Cat. Affectionate, cuddly, soft.
3. Tropical fish. Colorful, absorbing, active.

This is quite random, but if I must...
1. Horse. Graceful, quick, clever.
2. Tiger. Territorial, stealthy, radiant.
3. Squirrel. Skittish, lithe, adorable.

1. Human slave. Slavery, slavery, slavery.
2. Human slave. Slavery, slavery, slavery.
3. Human slave. Slavery, slavery, slavery.

Cat: I can relate to their nature. Plus, the way they walk and look is oh-so cool. They're cool with being alone and if something annoys them, they know when they walk away.
Human: Yeah, we're animals. We're just more capable of thought and as such, are more capable of good and evil than any other species.
Ants: Such a subtle metaphor for society.

Penguins - cute, playful, loud
Meerkats - small, crazy, they look furry
Dogs (little dogs... I don't like big ones) - sleepy, hyperactive, lovable
I have a stuffed animal of all three, but I don't know where the meerkat one has gone... the stuffed penguin makes squeaky sounds.

Mongoose: It's a funny name; they kill snakes, and there was one in The Jungle Book.
Velociraptor: They make guard dogs look stupid, they make Sam Neill look stupid, and there aren't any in The Jungle Book.
Squid: They're as smart as chimps, they taste great, and the villain in my book is one of them.

Supposedly:
1. Your choice of favorite animal reveals the way you view yourself.
2. Your second choice reveals the way others view you.
3. Your third reveals the way you actually are.

I don't view myself as cute. I know I'm loud.
I'm viewed as small and furry?!
At least the third one's right.

So what the hell am I? A dinosaurian member of the family Herpestidae with cephalopodic tendencies? What a stupid concept.
