Nostalgia
What are your views on nostalgia?
I split up with this girl around this time of year 10 years ago and I am thinking back on how good it was back then. I know I am probably only remembering the good times and after 10 years, I should probably have moved on since then, but I can't help it!
I just want to back to 1995. Does anyone experience anything similar?

I often wish I could go back to when I was in junior high and start all over. There are other moments in my life I'd like to re-experience, but if I could go back to junior high and start from there I think I'd be completely different today.

Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

I think there is a difference in nostalgia and wanting to go back. The first is normal the second a waste of time.

there is a difference between the two. I was responding to his last statement. Both are a waste of time anyway. So why don't you post what you are nostalgic about instead of making unnecessary corrections to what I have to say.l

I often wish I was once more a mere babe, full of dreams of being black, growing a colossal affro, chain smoking cuban cigars and playing croquet professionally.

hm, if I could, I wish I could relive the past twenty years of my life...that should cover most of my stupidest moments.

Sometimes, a particular scent or taste(usually tomato soup) will take me back to my early childhood, when I lived in my first house, and my parents were still together. I often miss it.
