Karaoke Night at the Lounge...
If the Lounge had a karaoke night, what would you sing and why?
I'd sing Like a Virgin (of course) because that's what everyone always sings...and Turning Japanese because it's all about me!!

Isn't Turning Japanese about a guy masturbating? =)
I'd go for Sympathy for the Devil, because I just got here, it's catchy and everyone could join in with the woo-woo's.

lmao! I suppose so...I was thinking about the title, not the content *ahem*
Ok, I redo then...I'd choose Sandman by Metallica because that song rocks and I wanna do some head banging!

I would sing Haligh, Haligh, A lie, Haligh by Bright eyes, just because I'm listening to the song now, and I think its great right now for some reason. That is if I could sing I would sing it.

Khe Sanh, by Cold Chisel, because in Australia that's what everyone sings.
"I left my heart to the sappers round Khe Sanh"

I don't think the music I listen to is 'karaoke' music.

I would sing "The Safety Dance."
But I'd have to have a midget on stage dancing with me.

That is indeed frightening.
How about:
"Once I smoked a Danneman cigar.
Drove a foreign car
Baby that was years ago
I left it all behind."
Another Chisel fan. I can't believe it.

... Had a friend, I heard she died
On a needle she was crucified
My brother was over there years ago, and he brought me home the Cold Chisel cd "Chisel". I wore it out, had to special order another one and I lost it. I dj on the weekend at a bar, so one night I played "Bowe river", there was an Australian in the bar by chance, she thought that was just great..haha.

I'd sing 'Bohemian Rhapsody', because I have the vocal range to do so.

"The next thing you know I'll be back in Bow River again."
I've got that CD. You should look for "The Last Stand", which is live. It's the soundtrack to a movie, but I don't think it's been released on DVD yet.
"I'm standing on the outside looking in
Standing on the outside looking in
Wo oh.
I've never strayed outside the law."
