Hi, I have insomnia - DON'T COME IF YOU'RE PROCRASTINATING!

Do you?

Last night I went to sleep at 1, tried to wake up at 5 to finish my World History and Spanish homework (I think I failed my speech today in that class) but I ended up sleeping in until 7:30 because I hit the snooze button so many times. When I came back from school I was drained, so I feel asleep from literally 4:30-9:00. Now I can't sleep, no matter how hard I try...so I'm trying to do some of my work that's due on Friday but I can't concentrate.

Have insomnia? Join the insomnia club....started by me, Gauda @_@ don't mind me, I'm just a little crazy right now...

*sips more tea*

I never fall asleep before 2:30 unless I'm fishing or hunting the next day. Of course not having classes until 2:00 in the morning allows me to do this. I usually do most of my writing after 1:00.

Yea I usually sleep late also. I have been sleeping progessively later and later every day. I've been sleeping at about 3 in the morning.

Haha, usually I do my writing after hours. Maybe that's the source of all my grammer errors and awkward sentence structures. It's weird though, that's usually the time I feel inspired to write in the first place, but I must say, my health must be declining at this very moment...I've been staying up so late these past few months.

Insomnia is my friend... I rarely go to bed before 5 am, I'm usually reading.

Do I get some kind of metal? Or maybe a pony ride?

Usually I hang around if I have the net...sometimes I read, sometimes I write, sometimes I'm doing homework. Right now I'm listening to the radio...Ryan Cabera....ugh. *puts in CD*

Insomnia is a beast.

I had it for well over a year back in 2001. At the worst I was lucky to get about 4 hours sleep in five days.

I don't suffer from it now thank goodness.

Ugh! I'm sorry...I'm glad you don't suffer from it anymore. I think today I just got too many hours of sleep...well over eight. Worst of all, my parents think I'm sleeping right now. Oh well, at least I'm doing something like hanging around writingforums.com so I can improve my writing skills and share my work

That sucks, I've had stretches like that where I sleep a handful of hours over the course of a few days. And it's never the good kind of restful sleep that refreshes you either.

I usually sleep through class. It hasn't been affecting my grades too drastically, but I should stop...

Once I was in Spanish, and my teacher usually calls on people to answer questions. Well she called on me, and my friend in front of me had to wake me up...she was shaking me and everything. It was really embarassing.

That's what insomnia does to you, I guess

That's nothing. I've fallen asleep with my head resting on my hand proped up with my elbow, then the elbpw slips of the desk and *kapow* chin first. Anothor time I just kinda slid all the way out of my chair to the floor.

I'm a major insomniac and I can only offer this advice: don't take Unisom.

The last time I took it (which, thankfully, was the last pill in the box) I went on a very strange trip.

*ouch* that's gotta hurt.

*yawn* I'm actually kind of feeling tired now...but not tired enough to sleep. I don't feel like reading either...and I don't really want to re-edit my chapters yet for some reason.

I kind look forward to friday though, because my friend's coming over and we're planning this video thing. Forgive me for being off topic, but she's directing this X-2 fanfilm...and yeah, I was cast as the part of Rikku ok that was really off topic, but this is the Lounge, so oh well. (BTW I am nothing like Rikku...I kind of look like her a little though, people tell me)

Hodge: O_o Thanks, I'll be sure not to talk that...

Well, if I hadn't been so freaked out it would have been kinda cool. Really cool, actually.

Picture the pages of a story you're working on (the Pining one) enlarging before your eyes and tearing in half. I mean the actual pages, not the story or characters. Lots of colors, some strange noises, and constant pangs of adrenaline. Maybe someone laced that last pill with LSD, because I think that was a bad trip...

Whoa. That's intense.

Pages ripping in half in front of you... ? O_O strange.

I don't really know what to say except...it must have been really scary. Exactly how much did you take?
