One Day Left

I've been thinking about this lately. If you had one day left to live, 24 hrs, and you knew that no matter what you said or did you would die at the end of that 24 hrs, what would you do with your last day?

Spend the time with my friends and family. Not exactly original, I know, but I think it's fair.

Hmm... I'd organize all my fantasy series notes into something that someone else could understand, and then I'd find someone who I could trust to write the story.

Then I'd probably start writing a crazy scheme for my last will... I'd want to be mummified, and then placed inside a large statue of a winged lion.

Then I'd contact a wild animal trainer, and I'd have it arranged so that I could meet a live cheetah.

Then, I'd arrange to go up into outer space, where I'd spend my last hours.

My first reaction was to answer that I would burn my pornography manuscripts, but then I thought, nah.

I would probably spend the entire day with my parents, and cry because I'm terrified of death.

Wake up, eat the best breakfast ever (and by 'best' I mean 12 pieces of bacon, cheese omelet(?), grits, the works. Then, go to Starbucks and drink coffee until I've had enough. Then, go to store and buy about 20 Slim Jims and eat them allllll....and maybe go back for more if I'm still craving them.

Tell all of my secrets, go up to my crushes and tell them that I like them, "experience" things with my boyfriend, get together with all of my family and go to Carowinds or some theme park , then the zoo. Go back home with my parents and let my dogs inside, surround myself with all of my stuffed animals/ childhood momentos, parents, etc and cry...because I, too, am afraid of death.

Oh, and go over will and how I want everything to be done. Then cry some more, maybe watch one last game with my dad, go shopping one last time with my mom. Listen to every single CD I own.

I think that's all...lol I've thought about this a lot.

Get up, sit at my PC, smoke, set an amusing MSN name, say goodbye to the forum, eat a pear, write my will and funeral instructions, send everyone I've ever loved an email (individually), leave the house, get a bus to the sea, smoke and watch the waves, die.

I'd find the cure for cancer, finish my epic novel, start my epic novel, spend time with all my family and friends, my pets, tell people how i feel, get over my fears and do stuff i normally wouldn't, throw a bloody brick through a bloody window, and try not to cry.

Probably wake up at noon, go on IRC, play a video game, go back on IRC, post here, watch the Simpsons, post here some more, and then die in front of the computer.

Depends who is on, and knowing my luck Fox would probably show the musical clipshow episode and then interrupt it with severe weather BS.

Knowing Fox, that's probably very likely. Perhaps your dying wish could be for a good episode to be aired.

The one where Homer went to New York. I think I'd like that to be my death episode
