No, I've had Americans seriously ask if we have telephones everywhere in Australia. And internet. And is Australia next to India, oh no, it's next to Africa right?
I kid you not.
Sorry, but one fith of the American population can not place the U.S on a world map.

It wasn't a joke. He said it deadpan. The same way he couldn't believe I had a PS3. Or made as much as him a week.

That's exactly the kind of shit that makes people on this side of the pond think Americans have a blinkered view of anything but the US of A. I can walk into my nearest town today and buy an iPod within thirty minutes.

When I refered to America as "First World", I meant as opposed to "Third World". America is the only advanced Western country that has the death penalty. I didn't say anything about anyone else following suit.

Spending time in jail is more of a punishment. Especially with paedophiles. They get the shit kicked out of them - justifiably, in my opinion.

Pedophiles are the most hated in prisons. Even the serial killers rank above them in the prison hierarchy.

How the fuck do you come up with the information to make such statements, Kang?
This comment is completely crap, just some cultural myth you picked up from watching Sesame Street or your seventh grade civics teach or something.
I wish you twerps would have SOMETHING behind the stuff you post.

And is Australia next to India

No, it's right across some mountains from Switzerland. Didn't you see The Sound Of Music?

Before my brother left to live in Scotland for a month (this was ten years ago or more), he was told by his advisors that the Scots didn't have refrigerators or washing machines. Little bro got real nervous, but when he got there they had TV and video games and everything.

Of course you can. You really didn't need to say this. Perhaps my own humour is too subtle.

Heres one - a relative of mine was (past tense - things may have changed now) a prison officer. He told me that pedophiles were the most hated in prison and at that time - they were separated from the rest of the prison. They used to be confined to cells for fear of them being attacked, but later I understand they had their own wing.
Don't know if this is still the case though.

You do know that the Scots invented everything in the world, electricity, the TV, the telephone and air and potatoes? According to Sean Connery's recent book that is.
