Funny names
Who do you know that has a funny, strange or highly unusual name, that leads you to think, what were their parents thinking? My boyfriend worked with this guy named Harry Pitts. It's the only one I can think of right now, and I'm sure I know more.

I have a friend who always wanted a daughter to name Robin. Sure enough, her first child was a girl, and was duly named Robin. Trouble is, she had married a man of Native American ancestry, so her daughter goes through life with the name of Robin Blackbird.

I knew a guy named Lawrence Eugen Friesner As if that isn't bad enough...he's a third. That's right. Lawrence Eugene Friesner III. They made that mistake 3 times in a row.

I was in basic training with a guy named Cantwell Muckenfuss III
And in prison with a guy whose given names were General Pancake.
In junior high I knew a Ray Gunn and, incredibly, a Randy Raper.
I knew a girl named Linda Walkup in college. She moved in with a guy and their downstairs doorplate for their upstairs flat read, "Walkup and Wagget"
My brother's geometry teacher in 7th grade was named Ahoe. His kids were named Thor and Heidi.
(His ninth grade math teacher was the father of Nancy and Ann Wilson, better known as "Heart")
