Truth?
Ha. I didn't hear a whole lot of that last night.
McCain came out with his "thank you" to the moderator and the University and said he was thinking of the "Lion of the Senate" while he lay ill in the hospital... Kennedy was in and out of the hospital hours before the debate even started!
I did notice that McCain had a hard time answering the questions which were asked, he would revert back to his voting history or tell us some war story. I don't care about that---tell me what you're going to do for our economy.
Obama did say what his plans are for our economy and where he thinks his attention needs to be first--although he didn't really tell us how he would achieve his goals.
McCain kept pointing out that he has been to Afghanistan and Iraq, etc and that Obama hasn't. That's important. Why? Do you actually have to BE THERE to know we're at war? Did McCain participate in the fighting, did he have a gun or run a mission? Nope. He got his passport stamped, big deal.
I heard a lot of reports saying it was a tie, two reports this morning that stated that among undecided voters, they're now leaning toward Obama.
Who knows?
This is the first of a few debates, it'll get uglier. And I hope so. They were far too polite to really show any truth at all last night.
