The Palin/Biden debate should be more fun anyway. If anybody can get a word in edgewise with old Motormouth, it'd be her.

I'll admit, I listen to some conservative talk radio, mainly so I can hear things like this -- a funny Joe Biden reel of gaffes that make Bush sound like JFK, including one where he just told us how Roosevelt went on television to talk to the American people about the stock market crash. Never mind TV hadn't been invented and that Hoover was in office. If you've ever doubted a liberal media bias; this would have been front page news had it been Bush.

I just watched the Southpark episode where the kids have to vote for a new school mascot and they get to choose between a giant douche-bag and a turd sandwich.
Aposite.
Yay douche bag.

I've always felt the media's bias is more towards whoever is currently in office rather than based on political parties. There are obviously exceptions both ways, though.

Has anyone heard what Letterman said about McCain canceling on him. He really lets McCain have it for not showing up at the last minute. Letterman is funny, which is rare these days, and brings up a few good points too, one being: "What are you going to do if you're elected and things get tough? Suspend being president? We've got a guy like that now!"
Here's a clip from last night's show.

Obama apparently considers his senator position pretty unimportant, and apprently worries more about a debate than his nation. This from the guy most people believe is going to help the economy most.
If you wanna help the fricken economy GO DO YOUR JOB!

Wow. Uh...do you realize that we've had a presidential election during a Civil War? Which was by far worse than this economic crisis. John Mccain doesn't need to go off to Washington and try and get things done. Suspending his campaign was a stupid thing to do, and in fact he did it just to win a few votes like yours. As I said earlier, just a few days ago he was saying the economy was "sound", yet now he's going to Washington to try and fix it? Give me fucking break.

He switched in a matter of hours, actually. On the same day, at like 2pm he was saying the economy was sound and solid, then three hours later saying it was falling apart and needed to be overhauled and rescued.

You got to be kidding. Have you seen the Bush videos on youtube?
Actual Bush quotes:
"During these last few months, I've been trained by Al Keida."
"I know that human beings and fish can co exist peacefully!"
"Just a one finger victory salute" after flipping off the camera.
"You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test"
"You can't take the high horse, and then claim the low road!"
"I think if you know what you believe, it makes it a lot easier to answer
questions, and Im' trying, (stutters) I can't answer those."
"It'll take time to restore chaos."

Those read like the ghost of Richard J Daley is writing his material. "The police are not there to create disorder. They are there to preserve disorder."
The phrase cognitive dissonance comes to mind, but that's far too kind. Not enough signal to claim cognition.

I think I know what he's trying to say, but I won't waste my time explaining it. My advice to you is, don't bother trying to figure it out. I'm assuming Black Board thinks he's a writer of some kind or he wouldn't be here. If he can't make himself understood, forget it.

Might want to check your sources. The south started to secede when it became evident that Lincoln was going to become president and attacked after he was elected. And ended before he was killed.
Even if he did change his opinion, so what?
Id rather have my state senator representing me than debating with Obama who I could care less about.
