What's your estimated debt total?
I have $320,000 in real estate loans on rentals, a duplex and a quadplex about half of their market value (I have a little more than 100K in cash in these two investments and the income covers about 80% of their ongoing costs including taxes). My software business also has $85,000 in notes secured with my credit.

Zero. My husband and I are debt-free.

If you had to take everyone on this forum, combine their debt totals and then multiply that by two, you would have half of my debt total.

Zero. But I don't have my own house. I'm waiting until I can buy straight out.

Don't ask. The mere thought depresses me. Going to college was the worst decision I've ever made.

About 38,000 including my car loan. The hubby however has been divorced and we are lucky enough to be paying off the ex's car, furniture, computer, and credit card debt. So include all that......*cries*

$140,000 - house
$12,000 - remaining on car
$29,000 - loan
PS. I have a degree in creative writing and now work as a professional editor and manager for a homeland security company.
PSS. Oh, but I have talent and experience, which was not taught in school.

I owe lots. And lots. Plus some more.
Then add the interest...
In money and favours!
But they won't catch me...
