Given that the male of certain lower species has a sex organ with some type of barb on the end, the mind boggles.

Excuse me, please. Henceforth, every single time I see a pair of homosexuals together, I’m going to think of this.

Not it doesn't. It sounds disgusting. I hate when people use that phrase. *shivers*

Not if you're into bukkaki.

By the way, I know a video you would sooo love. Pretty gay. No, very gay. I found it educational though.

I don't see what the preoccupation with having rediculous amounts of wildly reckless sex is. Is it a peer pressure thing? I've been spared from that for the most part, being homeschooled. Maybe I'd get what the exciting thing about having sex with every girl I could get my hands on was, if I had gone to public school. Or maybe not. Alternate universe I suppose.

Maybe someone can enlighten me.

As far as the term... I'm an american male, don't use it, it isn't really that commonly used around me. Most people use cruder terminology these days, as that's become widely acceptable. I wish it was as mild as "getting laid".

Words fail me.

No, fuck it, I'll try.

"The exciting thing about having sex" has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with where you're schooled (unless, of course, as a home-schooled, you're a reincarnation of Oedipus and you're screwing your mother, which, so I've been told, can be most exhilarating). No, sex generally gets to be stimulating when you're actually face-to-face with a potential sex partner, and that level of excitement increases the closer you get to the ultimate goal of shooting your load.

It's all to do with hormones. If the thought of fucking a girl doesn't give you an erection, you're either queer, over the hill, or hormone-deficient. But don't worry too much if it's neither of the first two. Those guys who are a walking hormonal time-bomb have the hardest time getting sex; they come across to girls as desperate, and possibly (probably?) only sluts will accomodate them. On the other hand, the more reserved a guy appears to be, the more that sex will be handed to him on a platter -take it from one who's been there, done that.

Oh, no, I get that. What I don't get is completely throwing responsibility to the wind. Being irresponsible and reckless is a badge of honor these days.

I know that there are emotional and physical consequences to having lots of sex with lots of different partners. I'd rather avoid having STDs and an accidental baby (don't believe in killing infants, so no abortion for me), than get my rocks off whenever the opportunity presents itself.

And it's not so much the actions that bother me. The people I know sleep with lots of people are incredibly immature and short sighted (metaphorically). I am not making a generalization, just an observation. I could assume that this was the common attitude of people who treat sex as a casual passtime, but that would be wrong of me. However, you can't deny that the mindset of "nothing can hurt me, nothing bad will happen, no one's feelings matter" coincides with having lots of sex with random people who you don't care about. Coincidentally, that is a very immature and unrealistic mindset.

And yes, your mindset about a lot of things does depend on where you're schooled, and largely who is teaching you. Kids at public school (largely) learn about life from other kids who know just as much or less than they do. Therefore, their presuppositions and perceptions about/of certain situations are skewed due to naivety. On the other hand, I'm not trying to put down public school, but I know that peer pressure can cause people to do things they wouldn't normally do. Being home schooled, you don't have much peer pressure due to lack of peers. It gives you time to shape your own opinions (or that of your parents, depending on them I suppose) enough and solidify your beliefs so that you won't be as easily swayed.

Now, to completely debunk that, there are many home-schooled and otherwise sheltered kids who decide that they'll break all the rules and moral standards that have been set for them as soon as they're "free". I haven't had that urge, since I wasn't really restricted much once I was old enough to do things on my own.

Bottom line is: I'd rather have meaningful sex than get drunk and bang some chick equally as inebriated and not remember what happened the next day. But that's all a matter of opinion and taste I guess.

Wow, I rambled

*hugs*

You know? So you've done it? Or are you just making an assumption to support your argument?
