Women With Male DNA
Do you tell a child with this condition or with hold it for years? What about doctors, should they tell their *young* patient the truth or not?
How many men on here would or would not date, have sex with, or marry a person like this? And why?
Video explains it better than I can. ABC News: A Woman... With Male Chromosomes?

I can only speak for myself, but I date the personality as much as the body. So yes, I would date a woman with male dna as long as she is in fact a woman, and yes, I would date a woman even if I knew "she" was born "he".

Many years ago, a whole scad of pregnant women were given a drug (might have been morning sickness related, but I don't believe so) and all gave birth to girls. About fifty of these babies developed male parts at puberty (not both genders, the parts simply matured into male) but all were raised like girls. They came out fine.
That said, I don't think it's a huge deal. If the kid's a boy, it'll come out later. If not, then not.

1. Tell them what? They have a 'y' chormosome?
2. Lots of women can't get pregnant. If they live like a woman, feel like a woman, and have the structure of a woman, I don't see the issue.

WriterDude, then would it be fair to say you would have dated Miriam after she revealed she was a boy become girl tranny?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/There's_Something_About_Miriam
Here's an episode of that show: YouTube - There's Something About Miriam
(She's Mexican-American and lives in New York, and recently had both her legs broke by an attacker who then threw her out of her several stories apartment balcony. She was in critical condition... I don't know if she survived or not)

If she have..um.... lady bits, then yes, I would date her. If she plan on getting them one day, we'll just be friends until then.

Ok, I see where you are coming from now.
(But what if her penis was really, really, small?)

That Miriam shit is fucked up. If I was with a girl who told me AFTER that she was a guy, I would resort to legal matters then potentially to violence. They are in fact a man and should expect repercussions for such actions, I deem it as border line rape, or at least being taken advantage of. Ugh, I have nothing against transsexuals, but still, that's treachery.

You don't think that show (producers etc.) bears any responsibility?

Yeah, I saw that programme. It was degrading and humilating for everyone involved. It raised interesting ethical questions, as well as making me feel physically sick.
A woman who's always been a woman but happens to have a Y-chromosome? No problem for me at all.
A woman who was born as a man and surgically changed into a woman? Uh... if the guy can't tell, then no problem for me, though she should probably be up-front about her infertility if the guy wants kids.
A pre-op transsexual shouldn't voluntarily get physical with anyone who doesn't know the truth, because, damn. Or do anything to lead a man on.

Well, regardless of what some of you may think, I just couldn't date a lady who use to be a male/ has male DNA whatever. Christ, why can't women just be women? Lol.
