My tummy hurts.
When I was a little boy (wait, still am) my uncle used to dress up as Santa. My cousin kicked him in the nuts once. It was great, because he (my uncle) was drunk, and my aunt (a very twitchy, small woman who uses too much hairspray) couldn't get him off the floor where he'd fallen.
Let's tell family stories!

This is a story told to me by a friend much older than I:
It was Christmas. He and his cousins were at their grandfathers, preparing for the morning of gifts. Their uncle, who had wanted to fill them with the christmas spirit, stepped onto the roof and tramped about.
My friends cousin shouted, "Santa's on the roof! Santa's on the roof!"
The grandpa, always fond of comedy, grabbed his shotgun, went outside, and shot into the air. He walked back in and said, "I killed the sonuvabitch."
The children cried.

i once had a guy come round my house who told me to call him 'uncle jimmy'. He was an amateur magician and would always bring his top-hat round with him when babysitting me. He would put his hat on his lap and tell me to close my eyes and say the magic words 'abra kadabra' and then apparently a rabbit would appear in the hat. He told me i could never look because it would ruin the magic. Whenever i did it the rabbit always seemed really thin and seemed to be bald, scared stiff the little fella. Once i tried to stroke it to calm it down but i made it sick

My grandfather always got me ribbon candy for christmas. He's dead, but he was more a father than my own dadddddy. SO what's your favorite food for the holidays? I'm partial to stuffing and cranberry sauce. Candy canes never really did it for me, though.

mm that does sound good. My mother's too snockered for cake making. I usually settle for buying myself books for my birthday. Is it just me, or do birthdays not feel real anymore? I never feel my age, and birthdays have just become awkward.

Since 14 I've eschewed any form of celebration on my birthdays. My parents have tried to get me in the spirit, but I find it pointless. On my birthdays I usually go out, see a movie, go home, go to sleep.
