Hell or Dallas?
It is suppose to be 103 degrees today in the big "D." What is the temperature in your neck of the woods?

103, I live in the same part of town as you. :p, but I honestly don't mind, I'm just gonna go swim for a while.

Shit, I was in Phoenix yesterday and it was 110 F. And much less urbane charm than either Dallas or Hell

Also in Dallas, just enjoying the air conditioning (and quivering in fear at the thought of the electric bill)

Arizona is dryer though (Dallas is pretty dry too). I would rather be 110 in Arizona than 90 in Houston. The humidity is just so uncomfortable.

I'd rather be in antarctica than Houston at any temperature. The humidity is torture for me.

Hey RR, I didn't know you were from Dallas too. You, me and AA should get together for drinks.

*Disappointed* Damn, I thought this was another thread where we would be given opportunities to take cheap shots at Texas.

Hot but windy today here. I laid out on the deck and read some old Steinbeck without sweating too badly.

Actually I don't mind the coolness here, but the fact that I haven't been swimming in over two years now really gets to me. I love swimming. But Norway's waters are painfully cold year round.
