Ode to an avatar.
In the last WF black hole wipe-out I lost my avatar and ever since I have been searching for something suitable, befitting of my venerable status. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
At the same time, as I have never posted a poem, and to bring fresh to your minds the status referred to earlier, I thought I would take this opportunity to demonstrate the calibre of my poetry.
Please be seated....ahem!
Qwerty dun lost his old avatar
It’s really a matter most gravitar
Please post me your pictures.
(Excluding the scriptures,
and anything that belongs down the lavatar.)
I thank you, please leave in an orderly fashion...qwerty has left the building.

Sigh, that was my old one. I thought my image could do with an...erm...update.
Wait a minute. Here's something interesting - why did I use the indefinite article 'an', when I didn't know that the next word was going to start with a vowel, as indicated by the double elipse and the 'erm'?
Would it have been correcterer to write: I thought my image could do with a...erm...update?

Did I not once read that you reside in The Emerald Isle? And that you enjoy the occasional pint?
That being so, something like this should do the trick:

Perhaps a picture of a Dvorak keyboard. To show your previously demonstrated witticism?

We, at Qwerty Manor, do not speak of this...ahem...foreign person. He should stick to musicals.

Thanks ash, I'm flattered that you associate me with such an heroic tableau.
Tell me how close I am.
This represents qwerty of the Antarctic astride his sledge which, due to global warming, has sunk through the ice. Deserted by his dogs, who have swum ashore and legged it, the intrepid qwerty uses his whip to catch his supper.
I'm right aren't I?
(I am a little concerned that the fish seems to be wearing swimming aids - is this significant?)

Well... I tried to do my part. Never again, I tell you! I hope you realise a couple of really disturbing images crop up when you google qwerty. >_<

Ah... Well, that explains one of the pictures. (If it explains *cough* others, then I have no comment. )
