I just sent my scores in, so there. ;P

As for a prompt. Hmm. How about 'the phone call that changed everything'? Or 'lost' (not the TV show). Or maybe 'winning the lottery.' Nah, never mind. The lottery one is just a dream. *grin*

I'd like to see this .

However, it might be better to use another prompt this time around, as a must use line was also used in the last contest. Dystopia could be interesting.

There is nothing stopping someone writing a dystopic take on whatever the theme will be. In fact it is hard to stop most writers from doing so. Anna Buttons is a good example. Wonderful and bleak.

I'm coming round to the Abyss. And I'm hoping Karl will have his fishing lure story done soon.

That gazing abyss might be a title, I'd think.

How about an object theme, preferably with an object which has several different meanings, such as glasses.

    Oooh, I like glasses.

@PP, your title is very cool. Wonder if an Abbess would work as well?

Starting to sound medieval; a medieval, religious dystopia in 650 words or less. Including a lens grinding reference.

You're all confusing me. Haha. Not hard to do, I admit.
What are suggestions here? They all sound like titles to me, and I don't think we want another title/line prompt this time considering we just did that.

The idea of basing it around an object is pretty cool. I don't think we've done that in all the time I've been on the forum.
