Can I just check, is the Motley Press ad I'm seeing at the top of the page related to the Ezine that was being discussed a few pages back, or is it something else?
@Fire525
It's something else.
"Best cure for writer's block: Make ninjas drop from the ceiling."
Publishing one of the winning entries from LM in Motley Press has been discussed but up to this point nobody has contacted me to suggest one, or nominated one in the nominated fiction thread. As it stands, issue six will probably go online later this month with only work chosen from submissions. The magazine seems to be getting more support from its readership than it does from WF members.

@Baron: I suppose one of the issues is that because of the ratio of LMs to Motley Press releases it is difficult to designate a single entry to be added.
If works are nominated then the story with the most nominations would be included. It might even be possible to have a spotlighted issue, perhaps twice a year, which would feature only stories from LM. This is open to discussion.
There's no doubt that a large readership is generated by the amount of traffic WF gets.

Believe me, seeing your work published is fantastic. When you realise this is a world wide Zine, and it has some of the best writers going to pick from. Well, it don't half pump up your ego.If works are nominated then the story with the most nominations would be included.

Hi Everybody... The challenge ought to be closed. I don't know if there's confusion because I posted the challenge, though I doubt it. I had understood that LaF would be doing that officially. Perhaps she needs a reminder, maybe there's something else. I think however that we should unofficially declare it closed and wish the judges fair voyage and get on to another order of business. To that end, I would like to offer for your consideration, a new prompt: he/she/it went crazy. I do recall some other prompts had been promised forwarding for consideration, though I don't recall them specifically. Perhaps their partizans will want to bump them forward? Someone, other than LaF, whose identity I've unforgivably forgotten, and am far to indolent to research, did a good job last time of prompt herding. I just want to say I thought that a laudable service. Maybe you remember who you are. pp.

Hey pp. I just closed the thread now.
Sorry about that, all. I just don't get on a computer when I'm not at work anymore. I do all my internet stuff on my phone and closing the thread on my phone is a pain in the a. Anyway, it's done now.
Now Bruno has informed me that life-stuff has come up and he won't be able to judge this round that I've just closed. Is there someone who didn't enter who would perhaps like to put their hand up and be our fourth judge? (Or if you did enter and can live without being included in the scoring?)
We'll survive, if not. I can do it with three judges. (Speaking of, judges please try and get your scores to me within the week so we can turn this over quickly and get the next challenge underway). Thanks!

Sorry, john. I only just saw that you'd offered. But if you don't have the time, totally understand. We can survive with three.

Smug git that I am, scores are done.
It's nice to see some fresh names.
What about the next prompt.
I remember dystopia.

It is a short list, does any one want to add to it?

It was gone crazy actually. I'm just helping put the old mother in a home, so that occurred to me. Both of these prompts are of the "highly generic thematic" variety. Sometimes I contend that these are the least productive sort--that some element of specific randomness makes for more entertaining composing and composition. Jerks the imagination out of lethergy.

. I see what your writing. I'm being careful not to push my thoughts. There must be someone out there with the prompt of a lifetime.Jerks the imagination out of lethargy
Come on, or do I have to borrow Foxee's steelies and come and kick it out of someone?
