Hello Everyone
Hey, I'm a guy who writes some stuff sometimes.
My interests include: Strange loops, Post-Modernism, contempt for Post-Modernism, ethnobiology, and the possibility that our universe is merely a computer simulation (roughly 20%) run by hobbyists wishing to model the world of their ancestors.
I just read Gravity's Rainbow.
Word.

Oh, when I said ethnobiology I actually meant ethnobotany. That looks really bad, doesn't it? Whoops. I promise I'm not a Eugenicist.

It looks like something from Final Fantasy, perhaps VII or IX.
Welcome!

Off Topic:
Actually, it doesn't look anything like something from Final Fantasy VII or IX. But it does look vaguely Final Fantasy-ish, yes. Just not from either of those. (Or any other one I've played, which is most of them.)
Anyways, welcome to the forum, DromedaryLights. Glad to have you with us!

hello and welcome.
so, a computer simulation, eh? or maybe you are the last human alive, because everyone else was killed in a nuclear war, and everyone else is in your imagination, they are all just robots and you imagine them as humans, and one day when you have sex with one of these robots they will transfer the sperm to an ape and have it carry your child so that the world can be repopulated, and then the hobbyist robots will cheer in triumph having brought back humans, and then we will all be used as their slaves, constantly working with little sustinence besides food and water and a bit of melted snow in the winter, for those in colder climates, and then you will be fucked, and the entire race will hate you because they will be fucked too! HAHA! NICE JOB, ASS HOLE!
anyway. welcome.

Oh boy, well, Kurt Vonnegut, is a great writer in general, and specifically, his book Breakfast of Champions has some things in common with the scenario you just described. There's a book within the book that is about a guy who discovers that everyone but him is a robot. It's totally sweet. Also, his Slaughterhouse Five is some kind of big deal among critics.
