    Hey everyone

    Hi, I'm new here (yes...you gathered that...why else would I be introducing myself)...My name is Kate and I'm a dreamer often accused of being in my own little world (it's okay, they know me here). I'm a high-school junior this fall, and already plan to major in English for college because I definitely want to write professionally. I play the keyboard/piano and love music, especially gothic/symphonic metal. People have called me goth and emo but I prefer not to be associated with any stereotypes as it is my belief that labels are for soup cans. I'm mainly a lyricist/poet with a pretty dark style, but have dabbled in short stories too. Looking forward to meeting fellow writers! Will post some of my writing in a bit, must fly!
