Thread: Hello from Boise, Idaho.

Hi!

I've been a member of a few writing sites, and hope that this time I've found my perfect match.
I'm currently working on a novel- a sort of mystery- and still trying to develop a disciplined daily writing practice. That is my main hurdle on the way to a rapidly completed manuscript, or first draft at least.
I've dabbled in some freelance writing, but have found that unless it's an arts review or personal essay, I don't have a lot of interest in it at this point, and want to focus on my fiction.

What does everyone write here? Mostly fiction, or non-fiction...?

Hi there and welcome to the forums. You'll find mostly fiction on here. Fiction and poetry. Some nonfiction but we don't seem to have the same kind of love for it. Or at least I know I don't.

Everyone here writes fiction. We're all liars. Hehe...kidding.

Welcome to the community. Be it practical advice or complete nonsense, intellectual dialogue or teenage drama - you'll find what you're looking for here.

If you need help with certain points of your story, there are threads for that. Maybe you can tell us what it's about. But only if you use the letters found in "Boise, Idaho."

Hello to you, and welcome to the forum! I write fiction, more exactly historical fiction (a mixture of adventure, action, suspense and romance, set against a historical background). I also want to try my hand at other genres, like horror and right now I'm thinking of starting a thriller.
