    Hey Mike

Good to see you're back (despite the fact I didn't know you on your previous visit).

Traveling, eh? You're own Around The World In 80 Days? Traveling always makes great writing!

Hope to be hearing more from you soon.

Yeah, whenever you know you have a good idea for a story somewhere, but there are so many ideas you want to get the good part before you write the beginning, then write the good part.

When confused with where to start, I'd suggest just writing each section separately and then when finished, piece it together in an order. Mass editing required, however.

Nick, I always write that way - the 'good part' is the central idea and impetus for the purpose of why you're writing. everything else is just foreplay and a cigarette.

i'm not exactly confused on where to start. i'm overwhelmed, really, because throughout these months, I took a journal with me wherever I went. It remains blank. I would never have thought my blank journal to be one of my most prized possessions. Everywhere I went, I always made sure I had it with me so no one would steal it. I didn't write about a single thing, though, I remember much. I didn't write because I wanted to know the pain.

hey jocelyn, i've been in hawaii, san francisco, las vegas, and new york. I was planning on going abroad, but my path didn't lead that way this time around (neither did my pocketbook).

    Thanks...

Hey, Nickie...I was always curious. Do you post anywhere else in the forum or do you spend your days saying hello to everyone?

Hi, Mike. I don't really know you, but welcome back!

By the way, I've already queried Nicky with that question, so if you want the answer, PM me. I like to keep things private.
