Hey
How is everyone?
I'm new to writing, and I'm sure my technique is lacking,
But I have a lot of ideas I'd like to share and get some feedback.
Hopefully I'll fit in here =)
Right now most of my work has been short stories and such, but I'd like to work on something a little more epic.
Uh...I'm mostly into fantasy and fiction.
My favorite authors are Chuck Palahnuik, Clive Cussler and Terry Brooks
I don't know of anything else?
Nice to meet everyone.
-Grant

Hi there, Desh! Let me be the first to welcome you to Writing Forums. I'm also a great Clive Cussler fan, and I have even done an interview with him.

Welcome, and may I suggest another author? Robert Jordan. He was a great writer and wrote eleven (Or something in the double digits >.<) books.
His series 'The wheel of time' is excellent, well worded, has fantastic detail, and is fantasy fiction of the medievil era.
It has some magic, which unfolds later in the series very well.
I am still waiting anxiously to read the final book in his series.
Sadly, he died in '07 leaving his final book in his series to another author. I hope he writes Robert Jordans last book like Robert would have, or at least close to it.
Whoa, that lasted longer than I meant it to, sorry for that

Its a good idea and I don't think you will regret it. =P
I have to warn you though, most of his books are at least 780 pages the most is over 1,100. So if you don't like reading something long then, don't buy it. 0.o
